Canadian roots music wonders Po’ Girl are already heading back into the studio to record their next album and are looking to their fans to help fund the studio time by pre-ordering a special pre-release edition of the as yet untitled set. For $25, including tax and shipping, buyers will receive a copy of the album in a signed and numbered cardboard case hand-printed by the band. The album is being recorded with producer Zach Goheen in Chicago in January and pre-sale copies will be shipped in early April. Pre-orders will close on January 15. For more info visit the Po’ Girl website.

Hi Alan, A little note to say how much we here in Po’Girl land appreciate the ongoing support that you and our fans have shown us. We’re very excited to get back to the UK in the spring–and with our new album which is going to be called “Follow Your Bliss” and we’re also thrilled to announce that we’ll be traveling with very special guest JT Nero of Chicago’s own JT and the Clouds. Thanks again and may the winter be good to you!
all the very best,
Alli Russell

Oh yes, writing the name of the album would have been good! How did I forget that??? Looking forward to it. And it’s no problem at all, the support is well deserved. You always put on a invigorating, thought-provoking show and more people should be listening! A.
