It’s been a while since we last featured the wonderful Eileen Rose – pretty much a year in fact, since this brilliant YouTube clip surfaced – but let’s make amends now by bringing you news of the Italo–American artist’s upcoming fifth album, Luna Turista, out October 5th through Floating World Records. First heard on last year’s extended reissue of her previous album At Our Tables, Eileen’s relatively recently acquired backing band The Holy Wreck (The Legendary Rich Gilbert, Nate ’86’ Stalfa) get full billing on this outing and will join Eileen for an extensive European tour in October/November [UK dates below]. The album includes eight new originals, a reworking of Eileen’s own ‘Silver Ladle’ from her debut album Shine Like It Does, and a cover of Waylon Jennings’s ‘Luckenback Texas’.

Luna Turista
01 Simple Touch Of The Hand
02 Sad Ride Home
03 Trouble From Tomorrow
04 The One You Wanted
05 Third Times A Charm
06 Luckenbach Texas
07 Why Am I Awake
08 Comfort Me
09 Silver Ladle
10 All These Pretty Things

Catch Eileen & The Holy Wreck at the following venues in November:

Hey, thanks for this, folks. Backstage at the Borderline, interview with WTT Magazine, some the most interesting questions I’ve ever been asked. Glad to see you’re thriving. xo
