This gig has been rescheduled for May 11th due to illness. Rumour has it that this could very well be the first time Tori has ever postponed a show due to illness in her whole career. Word is that she can barely talk let alone sing. Hope it’s not swine flu!

Acoustic performance to include pre-release airing of songs from new album

Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning for an intimate one-off Tori Amos show at the Savoy Theatre in London. Titled ‘Acoustically Attracted To Sin’, it’ll be Tori’s first solo performance in the capital since 2005 and should feature plenty of new songs from her upcoming album Abnormally Attracted To Sin as well as various bits and bobs from her nine previous albums.

If it’s anything like her 2003 show at the teeny tiny Shaw Theatre, tickets will be like gold dust. Try here from 9am tomorrow. If you can’t get a ticket, more UK dates are expected later in the year with trusty bandmates Matt Chamberlain [update: a recent post on Matt’s blog says that he will not be touring with Tori…not sure where that leaves the band setup; update again: Matt WILL be joining Tori over the summer] and Jon Evans.

Also tomorrow, Yahoo! Music will premiere the video for Tori’s new single ‘Welcome To England’, one of the 16 “visualettes” that feature on the bonus DVD of Abnormally Attracted To Sin (out May 19th). [update: you can watch it now over at Undented] The single itself will be released on May 25th.

NME.com yesterday revealed that the UK edition of the CD will include the bonus track ‘Oscar’s Theme’. Going on past form, there will no doubt be other extra tracks scattered around through rival digital outlets.
